                    Koko:
                    Good morning, Owlo! Look at what I drew at school today!
                
                    Owlo:
                    Good morning, Koko! Let me see it. Oh, what a beautiful picture!
                
                    Koko:
                    It is a cat with long whiskers. My friend has a cat at home. I think cats are so cute!
                
                    Owlo:
                    Cats are indeed very special animals. Tell me, what do you already know about cats?
                
                    Koko:
                    They say meow and they have soft fur. And they can climb really well!
                
                    Owlo:
                    That is absolutely right. Cats are very clever animals. Shall we learn more about cats together today?

                    Owlo:
                    A little bit like that, yes! But cats have many more special things about them. Come, I will get a book about animals.

                    Look at this here, Koko. Can you see how the paws of a cat look in this picture?
                
                    Koko:
                    Oh, they have soft little cushions under their paws! Just like my pink fuzzy slippers at home.
                
                    Owlo:
                    Well spotted! Those soft cushions help them to walk very quietly and silently. That way they can catch mice.
                
                    Koko:
                    My friend says her cat makes really high scratches in the tree outside. How can they climb so well like that?
                
                    Owlo:
                    Cats have sharp claws that they can pull in and push out again. Just like little tiny hooks.
                
                    Owlo:
                    Those little hooks grab onto the bark of the tree. That is how they can climb up high.
                
                    Koko:
                    Can they also climb back down again using those same little hooks on their paws?
                
                    Owlo:
                    That is sometimes very difficult for cats to do. That is why they sometimes get stuck in a tree!
                
                    Koko:
                    Haha, that is so funny! And why do cats purr like that? I really love that sound so much.
                
                    Owlo:
                    Cats purr when they are happy and feeling very content. It sounds a little bit like a soft motor running.
                
                    Koko:
                    Yes, I know! And they close their little eyes when they do it. That looks so sweet and cute.

                    That is right. Cats also sleep a whole lot, about sixteen hours every single day of their lives!
                
                    Koko:
                    Sixteen hours? That is almost the entire day! I only sleep about ten hours each night myself.

                    Cats need a lot of sleep to stay healthy. And they have dreams too, just like you and me.
